Personal Finance Advice: A Simple Question and Answer Website

I have been looking for a website where I can ask personal finance questions.

Questions like:

  1. I have Rs. 1,00,000 to invest, what are my options?
  2. I want to start a Life Insurance Policy, where do I start?
  3. I bough a car last year with a loan from a bank. I want to sell it and get another car, what should I do?

There will be infinite number of questions. Is there one place I can go and post questions and get answers to them? It’s something similar to Yahoo Answers – but covering just Finance and for India.

The features I would look for:

  1. The home page would have the latest questions (I hope these will be moderated)
  2. The website would have members – mostly the consumer seeking help and some experts who will answer questions
  3. The consumers can also answer each others’ questions, based on their prior experience.
  4. No real names would be required to register – just valid email addresses so they can get their answers delivered to their mailboxes.
  5. Of course I would not expect any kind of guarantees from anyone!
